JETMS launches continuous improvement with GENEO's SaaS for Lean
Keiron McNeill, Managing director of JETMS, launches continuous improvement in operations with the support of GENEO Software. The Biggin Hill site is using all three platforms in the GENEO portfolio:
- GEN-OPS1 for building and governing standards
- TEMPO for optimising aircraft paint and interiors
- my-CI for problem solving, ideas generation, audits and checklists
Keiron is no stranger to continuous improvement. Throughout his career in engineering and MRO environments, Keiron has reached for Lean operating systems to shape the fundamental principles of continuous improvement to drive productivity, safety and quality.
"This is by no means an optional thing for JETMS. We will be using the GENEO SaaS platforms to drive excellence across the business. Aviation is a tough industry to operate in with quality and customer service being our two levers to make a difference with our clients. GENEO plays an integral part in JETMS journey to excellence."
JETMS launches continuous improvement with the mindset of ensuring that everyone is involved in the journey. Everyone in JETMS has a role to play and the GENEO SaaS platforms make it easier to engage and build momentum.
Geneo technology in the workplace.GENEO Software has been supporting the implementation of Engagement Centres to establish rhythms and routines and launch the continuous improvement activities. Now that these are in place through the tiers of the organisation, the teams can use the my-CI app to feedback on ideas and problems they may encounter during the shift.
The next phase of activity is to build out the critical paths for paint and interiors to then use TEMPO to compress the lead-times on aircraft turnarounds.
